Ella & Pitr have just completed a new giant on the roof of the San Juan Hospital in Puerto Rico (Centro Más Salud Dr. Gualberto Rabell). They painted this 9,200 sq m work entitled Cloudie Lopez and her son Lidi as part of the urban art festival Santurce Es Ley.
Ella & Pitr spent four days painting their work in the heat of the Caribbean’s stormy weather to give birth to this giant and her child. They told us they were even stuck on the roof once and had to spend the night there, as security agents who did not know that the artists were there had closed the doors. Ella & Pitr left with a nice collection of mosquito bites.
